Terms & Conditions

1. General

By purchasing goods or services from DR MOTO Limited, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all sales including parts, accessories, apparel, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and workshop services.

2. Pricing & Promotions

From time to time, DR MOTO Limited may run promotions, discounts, or special offers on selected products or vehicles.

All pricing, promotions, and offers apply only during the advertised promotional period and are not available retrospectively on purchases completed prior to the promotion start date.

Once a purchase has been completed and confirmed, pricing is considered final and cannot be adjusted due to any subsequent promotions, discounts, or price changes.

Promotional offers may be limited by time, quantity, or specific conditions and may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice.

3. Pricing Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or supplier error, DR MOTO Limited reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for that product.

If payment has already been processed, a full refund will be issued.

4. Discount Codes

Discount codes issued by DR MOTO Limited apply to parts, accessories, and apparel only, unless otherwise stated.

Discount codes are not valid on motorcycle, ATV, or UTV purchases under any circumstances.

DR MOTO Limited reserves the right to amend or remove discount codes at any time.

5. Vehicle Sales & Deposits

Deposits may be required to secure a vehicle.

Deposits may be non-refundable where a vehicle has been ordered, allocated, or prepared specifically for a customer.

Full payment must be received prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Title & Ownership

Title of goods remains with DR MOTO Limited until full payment has been received.

7. Consumer Guarantees Act (Business Use)

Where goods are purchased for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, and the purchaser agrees that it is fair and reasonable to contract out of the Act.

8. Workshop & Servicing

All workshop work is carried out with reasonable care and skill.

Diagnostic labour is chargeable on all jobs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Manufacturer warranty may cover parts and approved repair labour only and may not cover diagnostic time.

Customers will be advised where possible prior to work being carried out.

Vehicles or goods must be collected within 5 days of notification that work is complete or goods are ready for collection.

DR MOTO Limited reserves the right to charge storage fees at a reasonable market rate for any vehicles or goods not collected within this timeframe.

Storage fees may continue to accrue until the vehicle or goods are collected and paid for in full.

DR MOTO Limited may retain possession of any vehicle or goods until all amounts owing, including storage fees, are paid in full.

If any vehicle or goods remain uncollected for an extended period, DR MOTO Limited reserves the right, after making reasonable efforts to contact the customer, to recover all outstanding amounts owing.

This may include, where permitted by law:

  • recovering costs through debt collection processes; and/or
  • selling or otherwise disposing of the vehicle or goods to recover the amount owed.

Any proceeds from such sale will first be applied to outstanding amounts including storage, repair, and recovery costs, with any surplus returned to the customer.

9. Electrical Parts

Due to the nature of electrical components, no warranty is given regarding performance or longevity unless required by law.

Electrical parts are non-returnable unless faulty or agreed in advance.

10. Returns & Exchanges

Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase for unused items in original packaging, subject to approval.

A restocking fee may apply.

Freight costs are non-refundable.

Special order, clearance, and electrical items are non-returnable unless faulty.

11. Delivery & Freight

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control.

Risk in goods passes to the customer upon dispatch or delivery.

Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

12. Product Information

Product images are for reference only and may not exactly represent the product supplied.

Customers should rely on product descriptions and fitment information.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DR MOTO Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of goods or services supplied.

14. Order Cancellation

DR MOTO Limited reserves the right to cancel any order prior to delivery at its discretion.

15. Warranty

All goods are supplied with manufacturer warranties where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits rights under New Zealand consumer law where those rights cannot be excluded.
