How to Measure
Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement.

Any goods purchased from DR MOTO can be returned within 14 days of receipt for refund or exchange less any freight expenses and the order meets our explicit terms and conditions.
The goods must be returned new, unused, unaltered, not previously installed, and in a sellable condition with all of the original packaging.
This right of return will not cover items that are special orders and found to be an incorrect fit, this is the responsibility of the purchaser, however all other standard warranties will apply.
Freight costs will not be refunded.

Engineered for motocross, enduro, and off-road riding, the Alpinestars SM3 Helmet integrates advanced technologies and innovative safety features to deliver an excellent combination of impact protection, lightweight performance, ventilation, and rider comfort.
Advanced Shell Construction
- Thermo-Injected Shell: Constructed from a specially formulated polymer blend with varying shell thicknesses to provide an optimal balance of impact protection and low weight.
- Lightweight Design: The SM3 weighs approximately 1430g in ECE Size Medium, helping reduce rider fatigue during demanding off-road riding.
- Reinforced Chin Area: Alpinestars has developed an additional in-house testing standard for the SM3, subjecting the chin area to conditions beyond homologation requirements. Shell thickness and helmet structure have been optimised in this area for enhanced impact performance.
Impact & Rotational Protection
- Patented Low-Friction Coating: Applied to the inner section of the main EPS liner, this layer acts as a slip plane to help reduce rotational acceleration forces generated by certain oblique impacts.
- Multi-Density EPS: Features five EPS inner sections with four different densities to effectively manage helmet volume and impact performance.
- Optimised Impact Surfaces: The helmet's inner and outer surfaces are specifically engineered to help minimise the effects of oblique impacts.
Patented Safety Systems
- Visor Release System: Alpinestars' patented system allows the visor to release at a pre-determined level of force, helping reduce forces transferred to the rider's neck during an impact.
- Emergency Release System: Removable cheek pads allow for safe and easy removal while the helmet remains on the rider.
Ventilation & Comfort
- High-Flow Ventilation: Features 10 intake ports and seven exhaust ports to maximise airflow and heat transfer during demanding riding conditions.
- 3D Contoured Foam: Provides excellent rider comfort and a secure, supportive fit.
- Recycled Comfort Liner: Constructed using recycled materials to help reduce the helmet's overall carbon footprint.
- Hydration Ready: Integrated hydration tube channels within the cheek pads provide added convenience for enduro and extended off-road riding.
