| A. Chest Measure around the fullest part, under the armpits, keeping the tape horizontal. |

Orders can be shipped from either Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Wellington or Christchurch warehouses. Depending on the location of items you have ordered, DR MOTO will ship your purchase from the closest location where possible.
New Zealand
Free shipping on orders over $149.00 - Excludes Motorcycles, ATV's , Electric Bikes and dangerous goods.
For orders under $149.00, shipping throughout New Zealand is $10 for Urban and $14 for Rural.
In most cases shipping is overnight however it can take 2-3 days depending on time/day the order was placed. If delivery is to a rural address please allow a couple of extra days. We can ship to your place of work!

Any goods purchased from DR MOTO can be returned within 14 days of receipt for refund or exchange less any freight expenses and the order meets our explicit terms and conditions.
The goods must be returned new, unused, unaltered, not previously installed, and in a sellable condition with all of the original packaging.
This right of return will not cover items that are special orders and found to be an incorrect fit, this is the responsibility of the purchaser, however all other standard warranties will apply.
Freight costs will not be refunded.

For well over a decade, the Tech 10 has defined what a premium motocross boot should be. Constant refinement, relentless innovation, and real-world race feedback have pushed the Tech 10 further with every generation. While retaining its iconic silhouette, the latest Tech 10 delivers unmatched feel, comfort, and safety — raising the performance ceiling higher than ever before.
The most recent evolution of the Tech 10 was developed around three key priorities: improving overall functionality, performance, and safety; reducing weight; and decreasing material volume. The result is a boot with a greater range of controlled movement, improved flexibility, and superior management of flexion and torsional forces — giving riders more confidence, control, and protection on the bike.
Key Features
Advanced material composites reduce weight while increasing durability, built to withstand the harsh demands of off-road riding. Cold-forged aluminium buckles are lighter, stronger, self-aligning, and easier to operate, contributing to a weight reduction of over 400 grams (almost 1 lb) compared to previous generations.
The streamlined boot profile reduces overall size while improving ergonomics and bike feel. An integrated construction approach enhances chassis strength while allowing the use of advanced bonding processes.
The lightweight microfiber upper is combined with an impact and abrasion-resistant TPU shell. Dual front and rear blade connectors work with the Frontal Flex Frame to provide seamless flexion control from foot to shin.
Engineered dual-density TPU frontal flex connectors control forward and rearward movement while progressively absorbing impact energy. The Frontal Flex Frame floats between the upper and lower boot construction, acting as a shock absorber and reducing transmitted forces.
Asymmetrical dual pivot arms improve biomechanical performance, while the advanced ankle control system allows natural ankle motion with controlled vertical compression and impact protection. The asymmetrical medial and lateral pivot system increases flexibility and precision, improves grip against the bike, and reduces abrasion on the inner boot surface.
Construction & Comfort
A low-profile pull-on design reduces material bulk and weight while making entry quicker and easier. Innovative flexion inserts work in harmony with the Tech 10 flex support system for optimal performance.
TPU protection with shock-absorbing padding is positioned in the heel and ankle zones, while the ultra-thin and flexible forefoot construction improves sensitivity and precise control.
A dual-compound removable anatomic footbed with EVA cushioning provides comfort, support, and even weight distribution. The proprietary sole grip sculpturing delivers excellent foot-peg grip along with efficient mud and water run-off.
The central sole insert features a micro-grip and side-hooking grip design and is fully replaceable. Alpinestars offers a complete sole replacement and boot repair service.
The triple buckle closure system uses a nylon and fiberglass compound for durability and strength. Slimline buckles feature high-impact, cold-forged bridge closures, while the contra-closure system doubles closure security with a quick-release, self-aligning memory design.
Frontal protection includes a dual-closure system with an internal microfiber flap and hook-and-loop fastening for micro-adjustable precision. A soft microfiber gaiter seals out excessive water and dirt, while the poly-fabric lining with 3D open-cell foam and anti-slip suede in the heel area keeps the foot securely positioned inside the boot.
Protection & Safety
The Tech 10 features a patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP) integrated into a lightweight, single-piece co-injected foot chassis. This collapsible heel zone uses expanded poly-foam to absorb high-energy impacts during a crash.
The directional impact protection system significantly reduces potentially injurious energy transfer to the ankle and lower leg. DHCP technology has been proven in professional Supercross and Motocross environments by Alpinestars athletes.
A bio-mechanical inner ankle brace with redesigned medial and lateral torsion arms provides increased range of movement and precise control. Working with the outer boot chassis, the ankle brace delivers vertical and lateral protection from compression and rotation while allowing natural freedom of movement.
A double pivot system maintains boot integrity during flex and provides progressive resistance to rotational and vertical forces, reducing the risk of injury to ankles, knees, upper legs, and pelvis. A dual-density TPU rear blade system prevents hyper-extension while improving flex control and impact resistance.
The Tech 10 Motocross Boots are CE certified to EN 13634:2017.
